The Frimpong foundation scholarship interview sessions have begun in the country to select qualified but needy tertiary students in public institutions to offer various courses of study.
The successful students will be awarded scholarships for the 2020/21 academic year.
In all, about 2,000 students, who applied online for the scholarship underwent an online aptitude test.
A panel of seven members comprising a representative each of the District Chief Executive Officer, Directorate of Education,is undertaking the week-long exercise.
The interview panel would grill the applicants in four thematic areas, which include motivation and comprehension, current affairs, aptitude test, and prior learning, and score them using an online platform to ensure transparency.
Academic user facility fees of all successful applicants, which cover certificate cases, diplomas, undergraduate, and graduate programmes will be awarded.
The method is used to select the beneficiaries was transparent to ensure that those, who merit the awards, were selected to benefit from it.
